I am a corporate security operative and an event logistics professional with over 30 years industry experience. I assist in the planning, management and onsite execution of corporate events of any size, for local or global businesses.
Whether you require full end-to-end management of your event, event consultation, event security, event staffing or indeed anything at all to assist you, I am here to work with you.
Having been gainfully employed in the hospitality industry since 1985, I made the decision to set up as a sole trader under the name of DS Events in 2001. It was at the request of one of my clients that I should set up as a limited company – Insomnia Events Limited was born in 2015.
Why work with David at Insomnia Events Limited? I promise to deliver your event within budget and guarantee honesty, transparency and the very highest level of customer service throughout our journey together.
By working with me as opposed to hiring one of the large event companies it is much easier for me to get to the heart of an event solution that is best for you at a fraction of the cost. At Insomnia Events I prefer the personal touch and therefore deliver a greater depth of knowledge, expertise and commitment; I focus on giving my customers exactly what they want, rather than what my business needs; nurturing close and open communication and benchmarking my service standards consistently and regularly.
I will transform your vision into an experience that will set your company apart. Be it a board meeting, a product launch, a sales conference, an incentive, a sports event or indeed any type of event, I will work alongside you from the moment I receive your brief all the way through to the execution of your event. I will ensure that you get the results you need.
With a database exceeding 800 experienced event freelance professionals, I can provide all the staff needed to make any event a success.
“An assembly of people for a particular purpose, especially for formal discussion.”
“Inducement or supplemental reward that serves as a motivational device for a desired action or behaviour.”
“A large gathering of individuals or members of one or several organisations, for discussing matters of common interest.”
“Something that happens or is regarded as happening; an occurrence, especially one of some importance.”
“The process of managing a project such as a meeting, an incentive, a conference or a special event. Event management includes budgeting, establishing timelines, selecting and reserving the event venue(s), planning food and beverage, coordinating transportation, developing a theme, arranging suppliers, managing risk and developing contingency plans.”
“In-order to give you maximum flexibility, pick and choose what you require from our extensive range of services. If you would prefer to hire some of your existing suppliers for specific services, we will work alongside them to reach the end result, your success!”
